contact@gccmcorp.comThe Elizabeth Square project involved glazing work within a modern recreation and aquatic facility designed to serve the local community. The project focused on delivering expansive interior and exterior glass systems that enhance visibility, natural light, and overall user experience. The facility required durable, high-performance glazing solutions suitable for a high-traffic, moisture-intensive environment.
GCCM Corp served as the glazing contractor for the Elizabeth Square project. Our scope included the fabrication and installation of large interior glass walls and viewing panels surrounding the aquatic areas. We coordinated closely with project managers and other trades to ensure precise installation while maintaining safety and quality standards throughout the construction process.
The project features large-format, high-clarity glass panels that provide clear sightlines into the pool areas while maintaining safety and enclosure integrity. Moisture-resistant framing systems were used to withstand the aquatic environment. The installation delivers a clean, modern aesthetic while supporting durability, safety, and long-term performance.
Installing glass systems in an active aquatic facility presented challenges related to humidity, safety regulations, and coordination with ongoing interior construction. Solution: Our team implemented phased installation planning, used glazing systems designed for high-moisture environments, and conducted precise field measurements to ensure proper fit and performance. Close coordination with site supervisors allowed the work to progress efficiently without delays.
The completed glazing installation enhances the openness and functionality of the facility while maintaining safety and durability. Natural light penetration improves the interior atmosphere, creating a welcoming environment for visitors. The finished glass systems contribute to the facility’s modern design and support its long-term operational needs.
